BernCo Fire Department and Project Heart Start to Offer Free
Hands-only CPR Training at County Community Centers

Bernalillo County –
The Bernalillo County Fire Department is once again working together with Project Heart Start to offer free CPR training at each of the county community centers from May 9-20.

“There is no charge to join in this free, hands-only CPR training,” says Bernalillo County Fire Chief Chris Celaya. “Even if you have had this training before, it is always a good idea to take a refresher course. In an emergency, where seconds count, knowing the basics of CPR can be a valuable tool for helping to possibly save a life.”

The training is open to the public. Participation in the community center programs is not required to attend the training.
