Dear Friends:

Please join me at an Artist’s Reception for the current District 3 Art Exhibit, Mother Nature’s Selfies ~ Photography by Stan Ford, on Friday, May 20^th, 5:00-6:30pm, on the 10^th Floor of One Civic Plaza NW, Suite 10111. This show is the 39^th in a series of exhibits showcasing the talent and creativity of District 3 artists.

Stan Ford is a nature photographer specializing in landscapes and wildlife. He primarily works in New Mexico, the national parks and monuments of the American southwest and Hawaii.

After retiring from a career in local government, Stan decided to pursue photography - an interest that began in high school. His work draws upon his degrees in biology (BS) and natural resources (MA).

Stan started “fotos by ford” as a way to share his passion for nature and the environment with others. The tagline – “images from a camera; not a computer” reflect his commitment to documenting nature as he actually experienced it.

He recently completed the first book of his images; “Mother Nature’s Selfies.” It is a compilation of his 50 favorite images from the past few years.
