Dear Friends:   I'd like to invite you to my next Monthly neighborhood Luncheon on Wednesday, May 25th, noon-1:00pm, at McKinley Community Center, 3401 Monroe NE, behind McKinley Middle School. This month’s speaker is Colonel Eric H. Froehlich, 377th Air Base Wing and Installation Commander, Kirtland Air Force Base.  He has been at Kirtland Air Force Base since May 2015. Colonel Froehlich received his commission in 1992 after graduating from the University of Tennessee with military distinction.  He has commanded at the squadron and group levels and recently served as vice commander of the 82nd Training Wing at Sheppard AFB, Texas.  He has held various staff assignments in the maintenance and logistics fields at the wing, center and HQ USAF level and has led combat deployments supporting Operation Allied Force and Operations Enduring Freedom & Iraqi Freedom. Kirtland Air Force Base provides highly trained forces in support of the Air Force nuclear enterprise and expeditionary combat forces.  It is responsible for installation security, operations, maintenance and mission support for more than 23,000 military and civilian employees who live and work on Kirtland’s 52,000 acres.
