Hello,

 

I am writing to tell you of an event coming to your neighborhood. On July 16^th, the Route 66 Summerfest will be coming to Nob Hill for the 7^th time.  This Free event will feature 4 stages, the Mother Road Artisan market, a car show and Neon Cruise, a Kid Zone, and the Cork and Tap local beer and wine garden.  This event has something for everyone! The festivities will kick off at 2:00 p.m. and National Headliner Booker T. will take the stage from 9-10:30 p.m.

 

In order to have all of the infrastructure ready, we will be making a partial lane closure of Central Ave on Friday the 15^th. Starting at 9:00 a.m. we will close the left lane in each direction between Girard and Carlisle, left turns will only be possible at Wellesley. This closure will remain in effect until midnight, when Central will become completely closed for the event. Central will re-open at approximately 5 a.m. on Sunday the 17^th. The City is providing a Park and Ride to and from the event at the UNM lot on the corner of Lomas and University, however, please still plan on increased vehicular traffic in the area on the 16^th.
