Wow!  The time really flies by!

Our next Nob Hill Neighborhood Association Newsletter is at the print shop and will soon be ready for delivery.  I am sending this email to you because we are in need of some assistance in getting the Newsletter out to everyone.  It is certainly ok to partner with someone to deliver the newsletters.

The format of our fall newsletter is another commemorative color version similar to the one we delivered in March.  The volunteers who have worked to produce this newsletter (and previous newsletters) have done a terrific job!  Now we have to make sure our neighbors receive their copies.  When you volunteer to deliver a relatively small number of newsletters, by teaming together we deliver nearly 3100 newsletters to all of our neighbors.  On average, a route covers between 80 and 110 newsletters.  We especially need assistance with delivery in sections of the southeast part of our Neighborhood.

The pick-up location for all routes is Monte Vista Christian Church at 3501 Campus Blvd NE. The newsletters will be stored under the portico behind the church's Office building for pick-up anytime.  Just follow the portico south from the main entrance of the church which faces Berkley/Grand.

Please note the following delivery guidelines:

1) A map of your route is included in the bundle - always deliver to both sides of the highlighted streets on the map, except where the map states do "one side only".

2) Please do not put newsletters in the mailbox - place them on the front porch anchored by a welcome mat or doorway, rock, etc.

3) The bundles will be tagged with your Route Number (see list below) so please be sure to pick-up the correct bundle for your route. I have assigned routes as close as possible to your home area.  Some of the routes listed below have been traded as requested by different people.

(4) Central Avenue – In the past we have also delivered newsletters to the businesses on Central within some routes, but Nob Hill Mainstreet has volunteered to make those deliveries for us this spring.  That is, you will not include any businesses on Central in your deliveries.  However, businesses that are located within Nob Hill not on Central will still be included in your delivery route.  That includes businesses along Copper, Campus, Silver, Lomas, and side streets off Central.

à Please let me know ASAP if you will be able to help us with this very important contact with all of our neighbors.   We anticipate the newsletters will be ready from the print shop on Friday, September 9.  As soon as the newsletters are ready for pick-up and delivery I will be sending you another email.  We want to have the newsletters all delivered no later than September 18th.

Thanks very much for your consideration of this request,

Ron Halbgewachs

President, Nob Hill Neighborhood Association

(and Newsletter Delivery Coordinator)
