Subject: Liquor Control Waiver Request in Nob Hill
Hello Nob Hill residents,
The democratic process is based upon openness and transparency, and therefore I am sending you an attachment with the proposed change to the City of Albuquerque Ordinances regarding the distance requirement of an establishment serving alcoholic beverages within a distance restriction of a school or church. Note in this proposed amendment, only Section 3 (A), Paragraph 3, is being added. All the other paragraphs already exist in this Ordinance.
Please note that our City Councilor, Patrick Davis, has not agreed to sponsor this Amendment unless the residents of Nob Hill support the Amendment. So this amendment is being referred to the residents of Nob Hill.
A period of time for questions regarding clarifications and responses will be allocated at the close of the Nob Hill Annual Meeting, Thursday evening, September 29th, at Monte Vista Christian Church.
