Friends, UNM Architecture Professor Chris Wilson invites your attention to a fascinating project and website on Albuquerque landscape styles, particularly drawn from Nob Hill’s Monte Vista Subdivision.

I imagine many would enjoy the research, the perspectives, and recommendations.

¡Viva Nob Hill! Gary

Subject: Albuquerque Landscape History Website

Dear Neighborhood Association Newsletter/Website Editors:

I would like to ask for your help in getting the word out about an interesting website on the history of residential landscapes in Albuquerque: http://www.arcgis.com/apps/MapJournal/index.html?appid=8b5efb2ef5e24b36869b20b03766d784

While the website focuses on the Monte Vista Neighborhood, the historic landscape styles and plant palette that it details can be seen in every Albuquerque neighborhood developed over the past 100 years.

I am attaching a press release and accompanying image. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Many thanks for your help,

Chris Wilson, Professor, UNM School of Architecture and Planning
