For the last week Nob Hilleņos have shared ideas on this neighborhood email list about how we can work as a community to get through the COVID-19 crisis.
Our restaurants and businesses need us now more than ever. Many neighbors have said they are ordering to-go from area restaurants. Please do this as often as you can. It could be the lifeline they need to weather the storm. This morning the ABQ Journal wrote about our new bakery, Ihatov, at Tulane and Central. Only 12 days old, they are making a go of it with to-go orders. They are among the many businesses that need your help now.
Retail businesses may be temporarily closed but you might call and purchase items for pickup later on.
If you think of any way to support businesses and neighbors please do it and share it on this thread. If you’re a business and want to share your message please reply to all.
Keep in mind that our older neighbors could use a check in or help with shopping. Moms and dads might need a hand while schools are closed. Many of our neighbors will face income insecurity. What an important time for us to come together and lean in (with social distancing) to what binds us together.
