       We're all in this
       together. We are One.

Hello Albuquerque,

Right now, it looks like most of the state has reached its peak in coronavirus cases, which means we are entering the preparation phase of opening back up. This will happen gradually to make sure that we do not have to close everything again. It is important that during this preparation phase that we continue to practice social distancing, wear face coverings, and take precautions to slow the spread.

I want to thank everyone for being patient as we work toward May 15 when we will begin making more adjustments. This next phase may feel like a roller coaster and I know that these answers may not be satisfying for everyone, but we must continue our work to slow the spread and to prevent our healthcare system from becoming overwhelmed.

Thank you for continuing to stay home. It's not easy to be away from family, friends or even work, but it is truly an act of love to do so.

Stay safe and healthy. We are getting through this as One Albuquerque.

Mayor Tim Keller
