_______________________________________________El Cotorro is a real contribution to Nob Hill, a unique restaurant in the city, low-key atmosphere but exceptional food. I favor approving this change.

Subject: [Neighbors] FW: Change of Floor Plan/Expansion of Liquor Licensed Premises for El Cotorro, 111 Carlisle NEÂ
 [EXTERNAL]
Nob Hill friends and neighbors,
Â
When Nob Hill Neighborhood Association receives an announcement of a liquor license application the association representative attempts to contact the applicant to clarify the application and gather information.
Â
The NHNA rep requests a record of calls for service to APD for any locations where the applicant has had operations.
Â
Your association has received the attached application for expansion of liquor licensed premises. This type of application does not have a hearing. Comments can be submitted to donna@cabq.gov until 5 pm on August 17.
Â
We are notifying our email list to gather neighborhood input. If neighbors express questions or concerns we will seek further information. We invite you to reply to all if you have a position on this request. Information on the request is:
- Operators of the business: Daniel Boardman
- Current and recent operations with alcohol service: just El Cotorro
- Food menu; https://www.facebook.com/ElCotorro111/
- Hours of operation; although hours of operation are not generally part of the liquor hearing they are of interest to our members: M 4pm-8:30 pm; other days 11:30 am-8:30 pm
- What measures does the applicant plan relative to security? No private security
Â
At 5 pm on August 15 we will evaluate input received. When input is neutral or positive we generally don’t develop an association position. If input suggests strong concern we will call a special board meeting to explore an association position. If this is a zoom meeting we will provide the invitation to the email list. We will notify the email list of the association’s action.
Â
All members of the community are free to contact the applicant and to provide written comments to the hearing officer or attend hearings (if any) in a personal capacity.
