Here's a roach bait recipe that pretty much cleared up my massive roach problem, near Hyder Park, after a coupla years. 1st year saw a 75% decrease.
It's, basically, inert/non-toxic to humans and other vertebrates.
The active ingredient, 99% Boric Acid, is sold as "roach killer" at most hardware stores.
Instead of lard, I use coconut oil.
Alma’s Roach Bait
16 oz Boric Acid
1/2 cup Finely Chopped Onions
1/2 cup Sugar
1 cup Flour
Lard to hold it all together
Add Water to the consistency of clay

Hello All: I am wondering if anyone else has been experiencing the appearance of cockroaches during the past few weeks. I have notice that each morning I find 5 or 6 of the buggers mostly dead on the floors. It seems a little early to me for this to be happening and I am wondering if anyone else is dealing with the same thing. Located near Lomas and Solano. Thanks.
