Special Procedures for City Council Meeting on Monday, June 7, 2021
In response to the ongoing Public Health Emergency, the City Council Meeting on Monday, June 7 at 3:00 p.m. will be held via Zoom video conference. Members of the public will have the ability to view the meeting through GOVTV on Comcast Channel 16, or to stream live on the GOVTV website at https://www.cabq.gov/culturalservices/govtv, or on YouTube at https://youtu.be/4Iu7x6HxOpE. The GOVTV live stream can be accessed at these addresses from most smartphones, tablets, or computers. The video recording of this and all past meetings of the City Council will also remain available for viewing at any time on the City’s website.  Council Staff is available to help members of the public access pre-recorded Council meetings on-line at any time during normal business hours. Please call 505-768-3100 for assistance. The agenda for the meeting is posted at: https://cabq.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx. The Council will take general public comment and comment on the meeting’s specific agenda items in verbal and written form via this link https://www.cabq.gov/council/find-your-councilor/public-comments through 1:00 pm on Monday, June 7. Participants have the ability to select if they require Spanish language interpretation when signing up. The Council will take general public comment on any topic, including agenda items, from up to a maximum of 20 people, on a first-come first-serve basis. To provide real time verbal public comment over Zoom, participants must sign up for public comment at the link above. Written comments will be distributed to all Councilors for review in advance of the meeting.

Community Invited to Attend NE Area Command Community Policing Council Meeting
The Northeast Area Command Community Policing Council (CPC) meets this Tuesday, June 8 via Zoom at 6:30 p.m., and the public is invited to attend and participate. Community Policing Councils play a vital role in helping shape policy and procedure for the Albuquerque Police Department and the CPCs are always looking for new members. Pop-Up Bike Clinics Offer Help for Cyclists
Do you love to ride your bike? You're not alone, and City Parks and Recreation has many resources for local cyclists, including Esperanza Pop-Up Bike Clinics! This week, the Pop-Up Bike Clinic will take place on Wednesday, June 9 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the South Valley Library, 3904 Isleta SW. It's a great opportunity to get in a bike ride and get in a little checkup. Free Community Vaccination Event This Weekend
Presbyterian Health, City Councilor Klarissa Peña, the Albuquerque Police Department, and the West Central Community Development Group are hosting a free COVID-19 vaccination event this Sunday, June 14 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., at 8020 Central SW, behind Defined Fitness. Registration is not required but if you would like to schedule a specific time, call (505) 923-2696 and use code LRABQ. Volunteer Advisory Board Seeking New Members
Are you interested in supporting Albuquerque volunteer activities and looking for a way to be involved in City-wide initiatives? The City is looking for Board members on the ABQ Volunteer Advisory Board to fulfill it's mission to advise and support ABQ Volunteers activities. The Board provides non-binding recommendations to ABQ Volunteers regarding ongoing and potential activities. The Board meets on the first Thursday of every month at 11am.
