Nob Hill friends and neighbors.
DON’T MISS THIS RARE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!
CABQ Planning performs a Community Planning Area Assessment for each area of ABQ every five years.
This addresses anything and everything about the area like spending capital improvement money, traffic, zoning, public safety, you name it.
Their assessment of our area is in its latter stages.
In the email below CABQ Planning invites your input to the report in office hours with staff.
I apologize that a couple of the office hours passed before I got this to you but you can still set up your own private office hours with staff to discuss anything of concern to you.
I have attached the input your association sent to Planning on June 5 if you care to use that as a starting point. You can express your support or a different viewpoint on any of those and raise any new ones you like.
I sincerely hope MANY of us will hop in on some of these sessions or get our own office hours to tell Planning what we need to make Nob Hill a better place!

Your Community. Your Voice. |

Thank you to everyone who's participated so far in the Near Heights CPA assessments. We've learned so much with you!
This month, you are invited to join the Long Range team during virtual "office hours" as we draft narratives and recommendations in each Comprehensive Plan element to address gaps between what the community wants and the resources and programs that are already available. Stop in any time during these hours to discuss the latest. Don't worry if you're not available for the day/time listed below. These are the topics we'll be focused on, but please come when you can and give the input you want to share! - Transportation (active transportation, mobility, safety, and transit!) and Urban Design (streetscape projects for "greening," lighting, and mobility improvements): Tuesday, June 15th, 3-5 p.m.
- Resilience & Sustainability (community gardens!): Thursday, June 17th, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Housing / Heritage Conservation / Land Use (zoning tools!): Tuesday, June 22nd, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Parks & Open Space: Monday, June 21st, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Infrastructure, Community Facilities, and Services (public safety, community centers, behavioral health) / Community Identity (murals, public art!): Wednesday, June 23rd, 1 - 3 p.m.
- Economic Vitality (Local Biz!): Thursday, June 24th, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
We will post recommendations and narrative summaries as we go on the CPA website so that you can review and improve anytime. Watch the CPA website for recommendations that you can review and improve. |

|
|
| | Watch the engagement page and the San Pedro Library for new surveys to gauge support and priorities related to recommendations as we draft them! |
|

Love public art? Take this survey to tell us what you think about public art in the Near Heights! The City's Public Art Division will also use this information to better understand how well the City’s collection serves the public.
