Holiday Water Saving Tip from the Water Utility Authority
The holidays usually mean family gatherings, lots of cooking and baking, and plenty of cleaning. You can save water in your home by only running your dishwasher when it's full! There is also usually no need to pre-rinse your dishes; just let your dishwasher do its job and conserve this precious resource. For more ideas on water conservation during the holidays and beyond, visit:

Ways to Support Small Businesses This Holiday Season
Supporting small businesses in Albuquerque is essential in keeping these homegrown industries going, and the holiday season is the perfect time to buy local. There are several free ways you can support local businesses, in addition to buying something from them:

  • Write a positive review online
  • Tell your friends and family
  • Follow them on social media
  • Engage with their social media posts
  • Give them a shout-out on your own social media
  • Sign up for their newsletter

If we all do just one of these things, we can keep our small and locally owned businesses going strong not just during the holidays but year round!
