| Neighborhood Pollinator Initiative Seeks to Increase Bee Population with Native Pollinator Plants
The Nob Hill, Spruce Park and Pueblo Alto Neighborhoods are teaming up to create a Neighborhood Pollinator project, and you're invited to participate! The project aims to increase the planting of pollinator plants and flowers, preferably native plants, and as a result, also increase the bee and butterfly populations in the city of Albuquerque. Throughout 2022, a variety of trainings and activities, including cooking classes, drought-tolerant planting classes, and neighborhood plant giveaways are planned. If you are interested in participating as a neighborhood resident, or want to start your own neighborhood pollinator program in your area, contact Anita Amstutz at: afasinger@gmail.com or visit: http://thinklikeabee.org/. |
