Good afternoon Gary and Board,
Thank you for your ongoing hard work on this project and for forwarding us this announcement.
Is anyone from the Board or perhaps Councilor Davis or Councilor-elected Rogers able to tell us what the city has planned for maintaining the medians once they are completed?
Specifically are they they size and design that the City of Albuquerque can enforce the ordinances that prohibit panhandling actions on the medians?
I'm concerned that without a satisfactory maintenance plan that within a few months of completion that out new medians will suffer from the same issues that have impacted many of our medians in Albuquerque. Stolen grocery carts, wooden pallets and trash.
Thanks,
Van
