There are too many cannabis/cbd shops. It can't be good for the neighbors or the community.

Gary thanks for advocating for us all and keeping us informed.

Friends and Neighbors, Your leadership sent the following to Tim Keller today.

Subj: Retail Cannabis Stores in Nob Hill at 3636 Monte Vista Blvd NE and 629 Amherst Dr. NE

Dear Mayor Keller,

Several residents have asked us to reach out to verify that the cannabis retail stores above are in compliance with the IDO.

3636 Monte Vista Blvd NE was submitted to Planning by the Verdes Foundation on  11/12/2022 and approved.

629 Amherst Dr. NE was submitted to Planning by Lemon Cannabis Co on 5/16/2023.

The stores look to be closer than 600 ft. apart which would require conditional use approval under IDO 4-3(D)(35)(c).
One or both may be within 300 ft. of a child day care facility at 613 Amherst Dr. which would violate IDO 4-3(D)(35)(d).

Thank you for looking into these questions.

Kind regards,

Gary Eyster, President of the Board
