I agree with Mark- pumice stones and elbow grease...and not letting it go too long or it gets much harder (pun intended)

Those are mineral deposits from our water. The only thing I've found that works reliably, short of a whole house water softener, is a little quick work with a pumice stone on a stick. You can get those inexpensively just about anywhere.

Over the last ten years or so my toilet has developed water stains. Near Carisle and Lomas. Tried everything to remove without success. Suggestions? Is there a plumbing service that can fix this type of problem?
