PNM will only trim branches between their utility poles.  If the branches from the trees on your property fall between the utility poles, they will cut the branches. They will not trim your trees or remove stumps.  
I use Hector’s Tree Care.

I have been told PNM will cut trees that threaten their power lines at no charge. ?It is still up to homeowners to have the cut pieces of the tree properly disposed of but this appears to be a "great service" in keeping down the cost of removing a dead tree from your property. ?Can anyone else comment on this?

I called PNM to inquire about this. It took me 2 hours to actually get an answer and the answer was your name gets put on a list and it may happen sometime.

This was from august 2023 so maybe someone has a more updated response?!

I've used Baca's Trees for this and many things.

A neighbor used Monkey's Trees for trimming and maybe removal. She was
very pleased with the work, speed, and price :)
