Greetings Neighbors,
This week I had the honor of a visit to the new Albuquerque Community Safety building. I talked with Walter Adams, Mental and Behavioral Health Division Manager, ACS, about their work. I saw this on the training walls and really it sums up why I support ACS:

Our NobHill Neighborhood Association along with partner Rev Dawn of the Monte Vista Christian Church are supporting the work of ACS and unhoused individuals by assembling Hygiene kits to provide for those living on the streets. The ACS will distribute them and we can also have them at the ready, if we are comfortable doing that.

Please join us for a Hygiene Kit Assembly event for Tuesday, July 23, 5:30-6:30 pm at Monte Vista Christian Church. Afterward we invite all to join at a local brewpub for continuing fun. Sign up here to volunteer to bring components, either to the event or to drop them during office hours of the MVCC, all information is on the sheet including the opportunity to donate funds for someone else to shop for you.

Let's become part of the solution and get to know each other. Action supports others and energizes us.

Also....You are also invited to the Ribbon Cutting of the new ACS facility tomorrow.
Let's show our support for the positive work of the Albuquerque Community Safety.

Thank you for reading this, and thank you for joining together to make a difference.
May the sweet rain soften our hearts, open our minds and not flood anyone!
