Friends and Neighbors,

Several weeks ago we advised you that your neighborhood association plans a rare opportunity to view the historic 1953 Tony Edaakie Murals in partnership with the Route 66 DeAnza Association and the DeAnza Motor Lodge.  Hilleña Elizabeth Chestnut will share her lifetime of expertise speaking to visitors in the subterranean mural space at the Motor Lodge.

The event will be this Friday, July 12 in three sessions, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. Refreshments will be served starting at 12:30. We will collect $20 per person donations to advance preservation of the murals and support Zuni arts.

Out of respect for religious significance of the murals, photography is strictly prohibited.
