Subject: Opioid Settlement Funds Town Hall Info
 

Hello CASAA community,

 

Bernalillo County and the City of Albuquerque are expected to receive $146 million over 16 years from legal settlements by pharmaceutical companies who contributed to the opioid crisis. These funds are to be spent on programming and policies to address harms related to opioids. A series of town halls is scheduled for the coming month, in which the public can provide comments on the use of the settlement funds. See the attached flyer and this page for more information.
