Last week we had a great turnout for the Assembly of Care Kits including participation by our friends at ACS. These Care Kits are needed to hand out by ACS for the unhoused and some of us took a few kits to hand out ourselves. One neighbor reported handing out a Care Kit as they drove by a person in distress and it was very warmly and appreciatively received.

Our next Assembly Care Kit event will be September 10th, 5:30 at MVCC (location and time the same, the date is moved up as both Rev Dawn and Meta are travelling..

Hope to meet you again on Sept 10. Rev Dawn and I haven't done an inventory yet but the signup sheet will be the same link and updated when we completed the count.
