My wife and I agree that there is no problem with the parking as it is today. Conversely, a crosswalk or some other pedestrian improvements around the silver intersections make much more sense.

The back in Hurricane has worked great for me. I have an extended cab extended bed truck that fits well in this parking situation. The speed limit is only 18 miles an hour so it is no problem negotiating around any obstacles. As far as the bicycle median, that has been absolutely a godson. Now I can wait for traffic to subside from Carlisle and make my turn onto Silver easily. No more rushing across lanes of speeding traffic. 

We are trying to have a pedestrian friendly neighborhood. The suggestions book for today are backwards.

I think whoever designed that angled parking should be responsible for fixing it. The city created the problem and the city should fix it. I don't think the money should be spent on that.
