Friends and Neighbors,
Recently I told you about a process Councilor Rogers is using to allocate $1.5 million in capital improvement funds she has available in the next 2 years. It’s called participatory budgeting.
One neighbor discussed a proposal he sent in to change the back-in diagonal parking on Silver near Carlisle. Several discussed pros and cons. That’s good. That idea is in the hopper to be considered by the District 6 community over the next few months. You can send in additional ideas until Dec. 15.
We have received the attached flyer announcing informational assemblies about the process.
The Nov. 20 and Nov. 23 assemblies are the same information.
This would be your opportunity to participate, listen, and learn from our neighbors throughout District 6.
All are welcome and need not submit a proposal.
You can come simply to learn more about the process and help others brainstorm ideas that will improve the entire district.
There are 4 flyers to a page in if you want to print, cut and share.
ĦQue viva District 6!
