Great news the ID Park is moving!!! Here is a link to see the plans and put in more feedback as I know you all were instrumental in getting this started.

You are absolutely right, $1.5 million is a drop in the bucket compared to the City Capital budget of $175 million.  Wouldn’t it be great if Mayor would pledge some of that to this process!!!

Either way the plan is to take the projects to the legislature to get more capital dollars for PB so we can do more.

Sadly, $1.5 million will not go very far to accomplish any one of the great needs in District 6.  I'm still waiting for the CABQ Parks Dept. to mitigate the scar left by the naked retention pond adjacent to the International District Library.  $1.5 million may pay to accomplish half that, providing construction costs don't increase.  It's just so regretful.  Perhaps the City might replace a few dead trees in the District.
