As many of us are aware, social isolation has become an epidemic in our communities. I won’t bore all of us with the multiple reasons for this arising situation. Rather I would like to explore ways in which our Nob Hill community can proactively address this issue and support our neighbors and friends who find them selves increasingly isolated.

I have a vision of starting a Nob Hill Best Buddies group. It would consist of those of us requesting daily check-in from a buddy or two and those of us who would like to be a buddy for our neighbors.

Looking for a service, government, private, or individual person, to monitor by phone the well being of elderly person who lives alone with health issues. Trying to protect against unattended injury or medical event which renders elderly person incapicated. Thanks for leads.
