Hello Tree-Loving Neighbors,

We wanted to share this information from Bonnie Strange, senior planner, urban forestry, Albuquerque Parks and Recreation.  Two meetings are planned to gather community input on potential changes to Albuquerque’s Tree Ordinances. Please see below.

Join Us To Discuss Tree Related Ordinances!

Tree-related ordinances in the City’s municipal code are currently being reviewed with the goal of recommending code updates that support protecting and growing an urban canopy that enhances every neighborhood. A key part of this process is learning from the community’s perspectives and goals for trees in their neighborhood. Urban Forestry would like to meet with members of the community to share our approach, discuss goals and objectives, and hear your feedback!
