Neighbors,We received a request for a variance regarding a sign at City on a Hill Church, see below.Our usual process is to discuss variance requests with the applicants at an Urban Planning Committee meeting or facilitated meeting, and then decide to support or oppose the request at the Board meeting immediately before the Zoning Hearing Examiner (ZHE) hearing.However, in this case we missed that it was a request for a variance. (Usually signs are permit requests that are administrative and don't have hearing.) So, we didn't invite the applicants to a committee meeting, and our next Board meeting will be after the ZHE hearing date (September 16th). The Variance is to request the 30 inch from the façade to allow another 36 inch to the façade to total 66 inch for the requested Flag mounting sign.
