Free bulbs - lots! These have done really well in a hot south facing
garden bed that has been well composted and watered. Not for a dry
garden - these need regular water. Very tropical look, small red
flowers that attract hummingbirds. These have multiplied in our garden
over about 3 years and we have too many now so I dug some up and put
them in buckets at our curb. Plant a few inches under soil surface with
roots down and stems up. The photo is what they look like full grown.
They don't need to be dug up in winter, just cut off dead stems after
frost and they will come back in late spring.
