Thank you to those who have weighed in on this. The dialogue has been very helpful. We are capturing your input. Some commenters have drilled down and given their position on the 4 points in our draft statement. That is particularly useful.
On number 3…..4-3(B)(8)(e),…yes, Council introduced that into the IDO early in 2025 with O 25-64. EPC recommends changing it so it applies to all property east of the Rio Grande, not just that north of Central Ave. We placed it in our draft statement as we
have picked up much sentiment that it be struck from the IDO. We are eager to know the view of as many Hilleños as possible on it as we are on all of the proposals.
To clarify regarding historic protections related to demolitions; The changes proposed by EPC in 6-6(B)(1) will not change anything in Nob Hill as protections already applied to the Nob Hill/Highland Small Area and the proposal is that it becomes city-wide.
So, it's not in our draft statement. If I’m missing something there, let me know.
