Like everything, all about money! Rebecca Money Steele
What great news! Hopefully we can continue to try and convince the new owners of the importance of having a grocery store in the neighborhood.
I’m grateful to the Co-op for getting this done. However, one-hour of free parking after 11 am still makes it very difficult to frequent our local businesses. For example, I often stop at the book store or art gallery (both on Heritage property) on my way to the co-op. The one-hour limit makes it more difficult for people to frequent multiple businesses within the same shopping center. I hope the new owners would see the benefit to those stores of people shopping at those stores…if anyone can enlighten me as to the logic of making it more difficult for people to shop at a shopping center, please do so!
