I concur.

They have destroyed Monte Vista Fire Station which was a vibrant neighborhood asset at one point.

They own Sawmill which is unaffordable and not easy to access.

This company is buying up New Mexico and Turing it into something that is not New Mexico.

It makes me sad.

Their suggestion that the city remove $1/hr metered street parking to make up for the impact of their new $5/hr lot is ridiculous and implies that they will soon gladly make it everyone else’s problem to solve when they exceed the Center’s parking capacity. The time to listen and collaborate is now.

Perhaps it is time to form a NHNA committee focusing on saving the Co-op grocery anchor in our neighborhood?
