First - a big thank you to Sam Beard and all the great volunteers for trail maintenance. As you can see they cleared a lot of trees on this trail. We skied up Burn Trail to East Fork Loop Trail. After we completed the Loop we skied part of
the East Fork Ridge until we intersected the hiking trail 137. After that we skied through a lot of burn areas and got lost a couple of times. We finally found some diamonds on a logging road (possibly FR 131) and descended to Hwy 4. The snow on Burn Trail
was pretty good and East Fork Loop was really good. There are still some hazards beneath the snow but overall it was good conditions. No one else had skied there. The high today was 27 degrees, so conditions should be good again tomorrow. Wednesday and
Thursday forecast looks to be too warm for good skiing. Happy Trails. Louise Broadbent
