Was there a fee? Did you have to join the club? Where exactly is this place located? How many kilometers of trail are there?
_______________________________________________Greetings skiers,Looks like a lot of folks have been enjoying the snow!!! So great to read everyone's reports. James and I tried out Pajarito for the first time today. It is groomed and in pretty good shape. I started the day on my skates, but the constant climbing was really hard for a beginner. After a few miles we enjoyed the descent and had lunch. After lunch we went out again on our BC classics and went to the top of Canada Bonita Meadow. The higher we went, the more obstacles we encountered (rocks, logs, and weeds). It isn't doable for skate skis in the upper portions. I'd say below "L" on the attached map was about 95% snow covered. There are a few areas that are thin and have the occasional rock showing through. We ended our day feeling thoroughly exhausted but truly enjoyed the outing. We topped it off with an Espresso in the car. Can't wait to ski with others!-Amy
