Yesterday, I parked at 10k around 12:30 pm and went up from there - Sam/Kerry's trail, Challenge trail, switchback to the top service road and then back down most of the same route, but sticking to the challenge trail. (I apologize to anyone following my tracks as I got turned around when coming out of the woods to rejoin the challenge trail). Switchback was good, only a few minor obstacles that were very avoidable. I ran into Steve shoveling and preparing the trail for Sandia's grooming today (nice to meet you Steve - On Wisconsin!). I skied nearly 6 miles - a beautiful day in beautiful conditions. 10K parking was easy and even in the early afternoon was pretty empty. Road still is slippery in places but doable in any vehicle. I'd imagine conditions will be good for at least a few days.
Cheers,
Anita
