I skied Oak Flats today and it was wonderful! Got there at 2pm. Broke some trail on the Mahogany trail, ran into some tracks on the Ponderosa trail and the snow and weather was awesome! Was able to kick and glide, didn't need any Maxiglide and no rocks. No icy spots but can see them coming. The snow wasn't sticky. Great trails for Level 1, very flat with small gradual hills.

I didn't see a soul the whole time!

Trail's in great shape, usual large rocks, usual climb out. As long as it stays cold, and before its 'other'-tracked, please don't wait to enjoy it!

Oh, btw, we saw deer tracks and large cat tracks running through the powder following it. Wow. Bet Gendron
