Today myself, Amy, Dean, and Peter skied the above route.  All trails were various degrees of just under hardpack, had tree debris from winds, tracked by many skis but not trashed by 'other'.  Today only a very few spots of icy.  Thanks to DaveG and David D'A for info.

Survey- our skis could get some 'bite', trail comes downhill fast, narrow, sometimes boggy on debris, NOT a novice trail!  Did I say 'fast'?
Sam's 10K connector- don't miss this!  Sam rerouted the usual 10K going uphill to give a nice skiable incline- choose 'right' and blue diamonds and it will take you !uphill!!
Crest Trail- snow was nice-ish, lots of snowdrifts, pretty.  Kickers/skins.  I was told it would not be good to come down now- only in fresh snow.
Switchback down-  as above but trail is wonderful! as usual, snow a little softer, lovely.
All in all, this was a wonderful day, good compadres.  Not a 'fine-technique' day but a wholeheckuvalota fun.  I would say at most one or two days more with these conditions.  See Amy's pics...     Bet Gendron
