Hello Skiers,

 

On National Trails Day, Sat., June 5, the Friends of the Sandia Mountains (FOSM), the Sandia Ranger District, and other volunteers are working on the extension of Challenge Trail from Dry Camp (Tecolote Trailhead) to Tree Spring Trailhead. The work will be trail construction with digging tools and probably lopping tools.

 

If you wish to patriciate, meet at Dry Camp at 9 am. The work will continue to 2 pm.

 

Wear long pants, a hard hat, work gloves, boots with slip-resistant soles, and a long sleeve shirt. Bring eye protection, snacks, drinks, and trail building tools, if you have any. Tools will be provided.

 

If you need a hard hat, please let me know.

 

There are no free T-shirts or other kinds of free merchandise.
