At this point we are reaching out to see what the interest is for a hut trip planned in Covid times. There are several factors to consider.
First, all participants must be Covid 19 vaccinated. Second, due to the unpredictability of planning anything in Covid times, all participants must be able to accept the trip could be cancelled if Covid protocols change and dictate a hut trip could be unsafe.
In the event of a cancelled trip, it is unlikely the 10thMountain Hut System will refund our money and the NMCCSC would not be able to do this either. So, unlike last season there would be no refund on your money in the event the trip is cancelled.
Finally, can we get 16 people on board for this? If not, would the people going be willing to pay more for the hut if 16 people don’t go?
So, what is the interest out there for committing to a hut trip this year?
