Hello Skiers,

The attached Word document contains a photo of snow at the Meier’s house in Los Alamos on New Years Day 2022.

It appears that the snow depth is about 8 inches.

The Garita Peak SNOTEL site on the north rim of the Valles Caldera is showing 23 inches of snow. The elevation is 10,160 feet.

The SNOTEL 708 site (Quemazon) at 9500 feet between Los Alamos and Valle Grande is not reporting any snow depth data.
