There is about a 12" tree down Switchback, already referred to.  It is about halfway up the last section going north just under the Crest.  It is a stepover- you'll see in the pic of skier TS, that skiers are able to negotiate the upper end of it.  35.210, -106.446.  I also sent this report to FOSM.
