Catherine Waters and I skied from the tram to the intersection of 10K and Osha Loop today via Rocky Point, Challenge and 10K north. We had to break trail the entire way in about 8 inches of new snow-where are the snowshoers when you need them! We did not see anyone until I crossed the road in route back when I saw a jeep coming down the road. The road and parking lot at 10K had not been plowed as of 2:20 this afternoon. While we returned on the same route which was primarily uphill, it did not seem quite as hard as we had already broken trail. It was a great day as there was very little wind and it did not seem as cold as I had expected. There were 3 trees down in the last half mile before we got to Osha ( one about 2 ft wide and the other 2 smaller) and we ended up taking our skis off for 2 of them.
