Birding With Bob

Los Luceros Birding Walk

Join local birder, Bob Walker, for a birding walk at Los Luceros Historic Site during the property's "Dawn ’til Dusk Day." This is a unique opportunity for both novice and experienced birders to see birds in old-growth cottonwoods and fantastic Rio Grande habitat. Register.

Virtual Vinyasa Flow Yoga Class

Enjoy a relaxing virtual yoga class every week with PEEC's Christa Tyson. Join us for this hour-long Sunday class via Zoom starting at 10 AM. Learn more and register.

 

Nature Playtime

Nature Playtime meets by the Rotary Treehouse outside the nature center at 10 AM on Mondays. Join the fun outside with other local families! No registration necessary. See upcoming dates.

 

Gentle Walks

Join us for a gentle hike focused on discoveries made, versus mileage gained. The group meets at the nature center on Fridays at 9 AM. Please contact us to be added to the email list to find out where to meet for our next walk and to get any updates on cancellations due to inclement weather. Learn more and register.

Meet one of our naturalists. Learn about our local wildlife and plants. Dependent on volunteer availability.

The Science Behind the Scenery Webinar Series by the National Park Service is free and open to all interested members of the community. The five-part webinar series will run February 15 through March 15 with webinars every Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. MST. Each webinar will focus on one resource topic and will include 2-3 research presentations followed by a Question & Answer panel with researchers and park managers.
