Hi All,
I didn't see lots of crazy emails about snow in Santa Fe, but there is a lot of snow in Santa Fe! I headed up the mountain yesterday for my last day to teach Adaptive Skiing for the season. We had a surprise snowstorm that started in the morning and it was 10 inches of powder! I carpooled and we got up to the ski area by around 8:30am. For those not far behind, there were lots of cars that skidded out and a bunch of accidents, which prevented many people from making it up the mountain. For those of us that made it, we were treated to amazing powder, very few people and operating lifts. It was an incredible morning. Not sure how long conditions will last, but if you head up high in the mountains in Santa Fe or further north, I'm sure you will be treated to some incredible skiing. Just wanted to pass on the info. I was too exhausted to write last night 😀.
