Skied service road, rocky pt today. 1 inch new snow. Service road had been groomed and useable but rocky pt icy without sufficient new snow. Expect switchback to be similar. Marginally worth the gas ⛽. Dave Williams

Usually isn't more than 5 miles of skiing on main trails. You can choose how long or short you want to make it, depending on how good the conditions are.

We will sign in, organize carpooling if desired, and leave by 8:30 sharp.

BRING MAXI-GLIDE in case snow get warm and sticks to bottom of skis. Also water,  snacks, clothing layers.

If this storm predicted for Thursday night into Fri morning produces some snow on the crest, I will lead an outing on Saturday morning at Ellis, doing those fun trails such as Switchback.

Will know better by Friday at noon and will send an email with time and place to meet if this storm pans out.

If anyone goes up on Friday and can report on road and ski conditions, would greatly appreciate it.
