has excellent maps of the Cerro Pelado Fire. There are three versions or types of maps.

First click on New Mexico and then on Cerro Pelado Fire.

Yes, the map shows that the fire has burned over all or most of the Coyote Call ski area. The Las Conchas Fire burned here in 2011.

Currently, the north side of the fire there has been stopped by work along NM-4 highway.

Hi skiers.  

I don't know if you all have been paying attention to the recent fire events but it appears to me that Coyote Call area is burning.  Let's hope this relentless wind FINALLY comes to an end.  I'm about ready to throw my skis through a window.  Not really, but very sad and tired of this spring weather.  Heart goes out to all who are fleeing from the fires, losing homes and fighting these blazes.
