Hello Skiers,
On Saturday, Nov. 26, Michael Arndt and Sam Beard will lead another outing to Los Griegos Mountain in the Jemez Mountains to remove large down trees from Ladera Trail so that we can ski the original marked
route.
From the Los Griegos parking lot, we will follow a shortcut to get to the first down trees on two traverses and a switchback below the power line at Lower Road.
Meet at 8 am on the west side of the Target parking lot SE of the intersection of Paseo del Norte and I-25N. Bring a hard hat, eye and ear protection, boots for walking in a couple of inches of snow, lunch,
snacks, drinks, warm work gloves, and warm clothes.
Please let me know if you need a hard hat.
