Forecast for Chama indicates heavy snow showers tomorrow, then again on Sunday the 18th, with several mostly cloudy days after tomorrow's snowfall and after the 2nd forecasted snowfall.  While there are a couple sunny days forecast, the predicted high temps over the next 9 days don't exceed 28F

Was up at Cumbres Pass on Friday with a group of Los Alamos Mountaineers. There was between 2 and 4 ft. of snow, good coverage everywhere. No crust, just medium weight powder. There were areas with the brush sticking through to the surface, but still skiable. Here are a couple of photos.
