And having just returned from two ski days in Chama, I can confirm the incredible amount of wonderful powder up at the pass. One word of warning; we were lectured twice about parking too close to the road. They want car parked at least 10' from the roadway and were threatening to tow vehicles who do not abide.  This can be difficult when the parking areas are unplowed in deep powder. So bring snow shovels and enjoy!
